Job Role: Pricing Analyst – Freight Forwarding & Logistics

Experience

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven experience in handling pricing for Air Freight, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), Air Charter, Project Cargo, Land Transportation, Cross-border Trucking, Customs Clearance, bidding, and other Value-Added Logistics Services.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE logistics market, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agent network.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain the most competitive buying rates from shipping lines, airlines, transport companies, and overseas agents to help the sales team win business.
• Negotiate preferential contracts and long-term rate agreements with carriers and vendors.
• Prepare timely and accurate quotations for customers and internal sales teams.
• Ensure quotations are commercially competitive while maintaining the company's profit margins.
• Continuously monitor market trends, freight rates, surcharges, capacity, and seasonal fluctuations.
• Develop strong relationships with carriers, airlines, transporters, overseas partners, and consolidators to secure the best available rates.
• Support the sales team in large tenders, RFQs, and strategic customer proposals.
• Coordinate closely with Operations to ensure quoted services are operationally feasible.
• Maintain and update pricing databases and standard operating procedures.
• Identify alternative routing options and cost-saving opportunities for customers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
