Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Production/Fit-Out Manager to oversee internal production and fabrication operations for exhibition stands, event setups, custom displays, and temporary structures. This role is primarily factory and production-based, focusing on managing the workflow between design, production, subcontractors, and installation teams to ensure all materials and components are prepared accurately and delivered on schedule for site execution. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in exhibition production, joinery coordination, fabrication planning, and team management within a fast-paced events environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production operations for exhibition stands, event structures, and custom fabrication projects. 
• Coordinate workflow between design, production, procurement, painting, carpentry, graphics, and site installation teams. 
• Review technical drawings and production details prior to fabrication. 
• Plan production schedules and allocate tasks to internal teams and subcontractors. 
• Brief and supervise carpentry, painting, fabrication, graphics, and finishing contractors to ensure work executes according to approved drawings and quality standards. 
• Monitor production timelines and ensure materials are completed and dispatched according to installation schedules. 
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for material availability and delivery timelines.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency and workflow.
• Conduct quality checks on fabricated items before dispatch to site.
• Maintain production tracking, reporting, and daily progress updates.
• Ensure workshop safety standards and operational procedures are followed.
• Support installation teams with technical coordination and production-related requirements when needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in exhibition production, joinery, events fabrication, or fit-out manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of exhibition stand production processes and workshop operations.
• Experience coordinating carpentry, painting, graphics, acrylic, metal, and finishing teams.
• Ability to read and understand technical and production drawings.
• Strong production planning and workflow management skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors and production labor teams.
• Good knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and finishing standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight production timelines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and production scheduling tools is preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
