Job Description

The BTL & CX Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and optimization of below-the-line marketing activities and customer experience initiatives across multiple touchpoints. The role oversees end-to-end delivery of experiential, retail, and on-ground activations - ensuring seamless execution, brand consistency, and meaningful customer engagement.
The role covers a wide range of BTL and experiential initiatives including (but not limited to):

  • Roadshows & Test Drives
  • Product Launches &  Brand Events
  • Sales Promotions &. Retail Activations
  • Motor Shows, Exhibitions & Displays
  • Sports & Lifestyle Sponsorship Activations
  • Conferences & Corporate Events

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
BTL & Experiential Execution

  • Lead the production of BTL campaigns and events from concept to completion
  • Translate client briefs and brand strategies into actionable execution plans
  • Develop detailed proposals including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing, budgets, and operational requirements
  • Secure and manage venues, suppliers, contractors, and production partners
  • Ensure all legal, insurance, health & safety, and compliance requirements are met
  • Oversee on-ground delivery, troubleshooting, and quality control during live activations
  • Manage event dismantling, wrap-up, and post-event handover

Customer Experience (CX) Management

  • Design and manage customer journeys across pre-event, live, and post-event touchpoints
  • Ensure consistency and excellence across all customer-facing moments
  • Identify opportunities to enhance engagement, flow, and brand perception
  • Collaborate with creative, digital, CRM, and PR teams to deliver integrated experiences

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the day-to-day client contact for BTL and CX scopes
  • Liaise closely with internal teams (creative, media, production, PR)
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders including venues, vendors, speakers, partners, and media
  • Manage expectations, timelines, and approvals throughout project delivery

Budgeting & Commercial Control

  • Prepare, manage, and reconcile event and activation budgets
  • Track costs, ensure financial efficiency, and manage suppliers against agreed scopes
  • Support sponsorship, partner, or exhibitor coordination where required

Reporting & Optimization

  • Conduct post-event evaluations including data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Track performance metrics such as attendance, engagement, leads, and CX feedback
  • Share insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in BTL marketing, events, and experiential activations
  • Solid understanding of customer experience and journey design
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure
  • Confident communicator with client-facing experience
  • Commercially aware with budget management experience

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in BTL, experiential, events, or CX roles
  • Advertising agency experience preferred
  • Automotive experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
