Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and data-driven Media Strategist to lead the development of cross-channel media plans across the GCC region. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local media consumption habits,consumer and digital behaviour, and cultural nuances. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, audience insight, and media execution expertise to drive impactful campaigns across both traditional and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop full-funnel media strategies tailored to each GCC market based on local consumer behaviour, platform usage, and media performance
  • Identify key audience segments using tools such as GWI, Ipsos, or YouGov and translate insights into actionable media plans
  • Recommend optimal media mix across channels: digital (social,programmatic, search, video), offline (TV, radio, OOH, print), and hybrid formats
  • Work closely with media planners, buyers, and creative teams to align messaging and placement strategy.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize in real-time to ensure efficienc and impact.
  • Track and report on key KPIs such as awareness, reach, CPM, CPV, CTR, and lead generation across markets.
  • Collaborate with regional publishers, media platforms, and vendors to stay updated on innovations and inventory availability.
  • Prepare and present strategic proposals and campaign rationales to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, regional events, and competitive media activity in the GCC.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media, or related field
  • 4–5 years of experience in media strategy or planning within the GCC market
  • Strong knowledge of GCC media landscapes (especially UAE, KSA, and Qatar)
  • Experience in both digital and traditional media planning
