Job Description
The Creative Director will lead the creative vision and execution across all client projects, from digital campaigns and brand identity to social-first content and video production. This is a leadership role combining strategic thinking, artistic creativity, and team management. You’ll mentor a multidisciplinary creative team (designers, copywriters, motion graphics, videographers) to produce high-quality, on-brand, and impactful creative work.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creative Strategy & Vision
- Define and lead the creative direction for their client campaigns, ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives
- Develop innovative ideas rooted in social-first thinking (platforms, formats, emerging trends).
- Translate business and brand goals into compelling visual storytelling and campaign concepts.
2. Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, manage, and inspire a creative team: designers, writers, motion artists, etc.
- Mentor and develop creative talent, fostering collaboration and continuous growth. o Conduct creative reviews, giving constructive feedback to elevate the team’s output.
3. Project Execution & Oversight
- Oversee the entire creative process from concept to delivery.
- Ensure all creative output is high quality, on brand, and meets client goals.
- Work cross-functionally with strategy, account management, production, and digital teams to deliver seamless campaigns.
- Manage creative budgets, resource allocation, and timelines.
4. Client Engagement & New Business
- Present creative concepts and strategic rationales to clients and stakeholders.
- Work on pitches and contribute to new business development with compelling, strategically grounded creative ideas.
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a creative advisor.
5. Innovation & Trends
- Stay on top of industry trends, social media platform changes, and emerging creative technology.
- Drive innovation in content formats, creative processes, and storytelling approaches.
- Build/evolve brand guidelines, creative frameworks, and processes that scale as the agency grows.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Ideally 7–10+ years in creative leadership or agency roles.

Portfolio: Strong, diverse portfolio showcasing digital, social-first campaigns, brand work, video, and storytelling.

Leadership: Proven team management experience, with the ability to mentor and inspire creatives.

Strategic Mindset: Deep understanding of brand strategy, consumer insights, and digital/social media behavior.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in design and creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, video production tools, etc.)

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to clients and C-level stakeholders.

Budget & Project Management: Experience managing creative budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field is a plus (not always mandatory).
