Job Description

One of the media agency's is looking to hire a Media Director to lead the media strategy and execution for a new regional client across the GCC.

The ideal candidate will combine traditional media expertise (TV, radio, OOH, print) with digital and performance marketing skills, driving brand awareness, app installs, and user growth in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-market media planning and buying across GCC markets
  • Oversee launch media campaigns with strong local market adaptation.
  • Build measurable media frameworks linking offline investments to digital performance outcomes.
  • Manage budgets, optimize ROI, and present campaign insights to regional and HQ teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the client’s HQ and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment and agility.
  • Lead internal teams and external media partners to deliver high-impact, on-time campaigns.

Requirements:

  • 6–8 years of experience in media planning/buying, with 5+ years at a senior level in the GCC.
  • Proven experience managing high traditional media spends along with performance campaigns.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (Mandarin would be a plus).
  • Prior experience managing Chinese or Asian clients is preferred.
