Roles and Responsibilities:

Summary: The employee in this job shall craft compelling and engaging written content that effectively communicates the company's brand messages, marketing campaigns, and event narratives. The Copywriter shall collaborate closely with the creative, design, and marketing teams to ensure the written content aligns with the company's overall objectives and maintains a consistent brand voice.

Tasks:

1- Content Creation:

- Develop creative and strategic written content for various marketing materials, including but not limited to advertisements, social media posts, event promotions, brochures, scripts, speeches, and blog articles

- Adapt writing style to suit different target audiences, platforms, and communication goals

2- Collaboration:

- Collaborate with the creative team, graphic designers, and marketing managers to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience

- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas and concepts for campaigns and events

- Contribute to the development of marketing and advertising campaigns by providing creative and impactful copy that supports the campaign's goals

3- Storytelling:

- Craft compelling narratives and stories that resonate with the audience, effectively conveying the company's values, products, services, and event themes

4- Brand Voice:

- Maintain and enhance the company's brand voice and tone across all written content, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines

5- Message Clarity:

- Ensure clarity and effectiveness of messaging, conveying complex ideas in a concise and engaging manner

6- Proofreading and Editing:

- Review and edit written content to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and coherence

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all content is error-free and aligned with the project's objectives

7- Client Interaction:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and incorporate changes into the content

8- Market Trends:

- Stay updated with industry trends, language nuances, and emerging communication techniques to incorporate fresh and relevant elements into content

9- Event Messaging:

- Develop event-related content, including invitations, event programs, speaker introductions, and event scripts

10- Adaptation to Mediums:

- Write content suitable for various mediums, including digital platforms, print materials, presentations, and audiovisual formats

Qualifications:

1- Work experience

  • 4+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in the advertising industry

2- Academic qualifications

  • BA degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent, from a renowned university

3- Technical/Computer skills

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style
  • Creative thinking and the ability to translate concepts into engaging copy

4- Interpersonal and other skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, to meet deadline, and to be detail-oriented
