Title: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT 

Reporting to: Finance Manager

Job Location: Doha, Qatar

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Degree Holder Major in Accounting.
• 5 to 10 years responsible experience in accounting.
• Must have a thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and IFRS.
• Strong Analytical and Accounting skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of the team
• Advance experience in Microsoft Office.
• Must have advance knowledge of Focus Accounting System or related software
• Must be able to effectively handle Multiple task simultaneously in a deadline driven environment. Excellent written and verbal communications

Skills:

• Familiarity with accounting software/programs
• Analytical and Problem-solving skills
• Detailed oriented
• Organized
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Filipino or Arabic preffred

Objective / Job Description / Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Senior Accountant to join the Finance Team. The role is to provide a key support for the whole group of companies

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation
• Assist with the completion of annual regulatory audit and tax fillings
• Review and reconciliation of inter-company transactions
• Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with the set timelines.
• Training and mentoring of Junior Staff
• Maintain accounting policies and procedures and best practice
